I've been fortunate to have been encouraged and supported in my photography journey and this site is a small slice of where the adventures have taken me - so many thanks to K and ZAM for the support, trip ideas, and most importantly, patience!  I've traveled to places on my "bucket" list and to others I hadn't even considered before. Somewhere a long the way, I picked up a camera and a whole new world opened up - the colors, the sounds, the views, the animals, and the people. Things we see every day take on a whole new meaning when you slow down and take the time to actually look around you.  I always thought that I could be more patient if I knew how long I needed to wait! It turns out that a grizzly bear, a sunset, a wolf, the dew on a bloom don't care how long it took you to get there, or how long you've been waiting in the freezing rain, or the heat, or the cold, or how long the climb was, or how long many times you've been to the same place trying to take the perfect shot you've had in your head - they'll show up, when they show up.  The biggest lessons I've learned are that everything has it's own schedule completely independent of yours and whether it's your backyard or the other side of the planet, there are adventures everywhere. So have a seat, grab a cup of tea and have a look at the world through my lens...
